What happens at my complimentary consultation?

It is a relaxed 15-minute chat about the brows you want. Britt looks at your skin type, natural shape and colouring, recommends microblading or powder brows, and explains pricing, healing and your patch test. It is completely free, with no obligation to book.

Does microblading hurt?

Most clients describe it as a light scratching sensation rather than pain. A topical numbing cream is applied before and during your treatment, and we take breaks whenever you need them. Many clients are surprised by how relaxed they feel.

How long do semi-permanent brows last?

Microblading usually lasts 12 to 18 months and powder brows 1 to 3 years. Skin type, sun exposure and skincare all play a part. A colour boost every year or so keeps your brows looking fresh.

What is the difference between microblading and powder brows?

Microblading creates individual hair strokes for a natural, textured look and suits normal to dry skin. Powder brows create a soft shaded finish, last longer and suit oily or combination skin. During your consultation in [Town], Britt will recommend the technique that will heal best on your skin.

Will my brows look natural?

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours beforehand, and skip brow tinting, waxing or threading for a week before. Stop retinol and exfoliating acids on the brow area two weeks prior. If you take any medication, check with your GP before stopping anything.

What is healing like?

Brows look darker and sharper for the first few days, then lightly flake between days five and ten. Colour may look patchy for a short while before it settles by weeks four to six. You will receive full aftercare instructions to take home.

Is semi-permanent makeup suitable for everyone?

Most people are suitable, but treatment is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have taken Roaccutane in the last six months, are undergoing chemotherapy, or have a skin condition in the brow area. We go through this carefully during your consultation.

Can I wear makeup after my treatment?

Avoid makeup on or around your brows until they have fully healed, usually around ten to fourteen days. Makeup elsewhere on your face is fine as long as it stays away from the treated area.

Can I book outside normal hours?
